About the role

This role is on the engine manufacturing team, which is moving from development engines to producing flight engines at rate. First shift runs 6am to 3pm.

What you'll do

  • Own integrated engine assembly from design release through integration and shipment.
  • Develop build processes and specs that raise engine production rate and reduce build issues.
  • Resolve build issues, apply technician feedback and support BOM updates and build checkouts.
  • Support workcenter development, covering assembly operations, tooling, capital equipment and rate targets across sites.
  • Write test procedures and act as test conductor to verify installed hardware health and build integrity.
  • Help define and pilot ERP, MES and QMS tools for vehicle manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Engineering or related technical degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills, including detailed work instructions and process plans.
  • Ability to investigate, resolve and screen hardware non-conformances.
  • Ability to work with and train technicians.
  • Ability to work with vendors to get parts made quickly and reliably.
  • Familiarity with additive and subtractive manufacturing and precision inspection techniques.

Nice to have

  • Experience leading a small team.
  • Experience in a startup or agile development environment.
  • Experience on a propulsion development program.

Pay & benefits

USD 109k–163k. The posting lists competitive salary and equity, generous PTO and sick leave, parental leave, and an annual learning and development stipend.

Visa path

Engineers in propulsion integration roles often support an O-1A case with evidence such as critical roles on engine production programs, patents, publications, awards, and expert recognition. The posting states no citizenship restriction. An employer like this, or a U.S. agent, can file an O-1A petition for a qualifying candidate, though approval depends on the individual's evidence and is not assured.
