About the role
O1D Match helps exceptional professionals understand and pursue the U.S. O-1 visa. We work with startups and entertainers to build custom solutions, and we need skilled people on O1D projects. You will build the APIs, scripts and data pipelines that sit behind our client platforms and internal tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and build REST APIs and background jobs in Python (FastAPI, Flask or Django)
- Integrate third-party APIs such as Google Workspace, Stripe and CRMs
- Write scripts that process documents, spreadsheets and data feeds
- Deploy and monitor services on cloud hosts or Linux servers
- Write tests and document endpoints
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional Python development
- Experience designing and securing APIs (auth, rate limits, error handling)
- Working knowledge of SQL databases
- Comfort on the Linux command line
- Clear written communication
Nice to have
Google APIs with service accounts, PDF and document processing, async Python, Docker.
Location and hours
Fully remote. Flexible hours, project-based work. Engagements range from short fixes to longer builds, and you choose the projects that fit your schedule.
