About the role
O1D Match helps exceptional professionals understand and pursue the U.S. O-1 visa. We work with startups and entertainers to build custom solutions, and we need skilled people on O1D projects. You will build and maintain automated end-to-end tests so the sites and apps we ship stay reliable as they change.
Responsibilities
- Design and write end-to-end test suites in Playwright or Cypress
- Automate critical paths: sign-up, login, forms, payments and webhooks
- Run tests in CI (GitHub Actions or similar) on pull requests and deploys
- Reduce flaky tests and keep suites fast and readable
- Report failures with logs, traces and screenshots
Requirements
- 3+ years of test automation experience
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript
- Hands-on Playwright or Cypress in production projects
- Experience wiring tests into CI pipelines
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals (DOM, HTTP, cookies, auth)
Nice to have
API testing, visual regression tools, testing Stripe or Supabase integrations, reviewing AI-written code.
Location and hours
Fully remote. Flexible hours, project-based work. Engagements range from short fixes to longer builds, and you choose the projects that fit your schedule.
