About the role
O1D Match helps exceptional professionals understand and pursue the U.S. O-1 visa. We work with startups and entertainers to build custom solutions, and we need skilled people on O1D projects. You will design and build practical AI features: assistants, document tools, scoring and screening flows, and retrieval over client knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Build LLM-powered features using APIs such as Anthropic Claude and OpenAI
- Design prompts, tool use and structured outputs that are reliable in production
- Build retrieval (RAG) over documents and knowledge bases
- Evaluate outputs, measure quality and reduce errors and cost
- Handle API keys and user data securely
Requirements
- 2+ years building software, with at least one shipped LLM application
- Strong Python or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, tool calling and structured output
- Understanding of embeddings, vector search and evaluation methods
- Good judgment about where AI helps and where it does not
Nice to have
Agent frameworks, MCP servers, voice or chat widgets, experience evaluating AI screening or scoring systems.
Location and hours
Fully remote. Flexible hours, project-based work. Engagements range from short fixes to longer builds, and you choose the projects that fit your schedule.
